Having found The Ole Bistro Inn on Airbnb it seemed to fit what I was looking for for a short getaway...private condo, good location, and very clean. The moment I arrived I knew i had made the right choice, in fact the condo itself was so nice, comfortable, and Ken was immediately helpful when I had a question. With no hesitation I recommend The Inn and look forward to another stay.

We stayed in the Bistro Suite for our Honeymoon. The suite was beautiful and very clean. Loved the huge comfy bed and the huge shower too! Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking or drinking (all types of glassware!). Loved the balcony and the location cannot be beat! Perfect location to walk to everything Lake Geneva has to offer. Great Eggs downstairs serves yummy breakfast and lunches! We highly recommend Ole Bistro Inn and we will definitely come back! Thank you!!

Such an amazing place! We just stayed at the Ole Bistro Inn for our anniversary during Memorial Day weekend and it was one of the best places we have ever rented. The decor of our room and balcony overlooking downtown Lake Geneva was beautiful. You also literally cannot ask for a better location - one block from the beach/lake and right off main street downtown. Convenience at its best! The room was spacious/clean and Ken was an absolute pleasure to work with as well. We will be returning! Ole Bistro Inn is a hidden gem. :)

Ken's place was perfect for a winter weekend get away for my fiance and me. It was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the basic things to make some simple meals. It was a great location near shops and restaurants. We'd love to come back in summer and enjoy the lake and other things near Lake Geneva.

What a great stay we had at the Ole Bistro Inn! The interior of the Bistro Suite was awesome, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious and the kitchen worked out great (although we did not really do any cooking). The balcony overlooking the street was really cool as were the interior black lights. The location was just fantastic and was within easy walking distance of all things Lake Geneva. Once we parked our car the day we arrived, we never got back in it till we left three days later. I highly recommend!!!

Really stylish and unique place right in the downtown of Lake Geneva. You can’t go wrong with this place! It’s steps from every attraction downtown and you won’t find a place like it either so if you appreciate uniqueness that’s an added bonus. It was also sparkling clean and very easy to check in and out of. Ken was also very quick to respond to all questions. A truly great place with a helpful host in an excellent location!

Awesome bistro suite. You will be amazed at the decor and how well appointed the flat is. Super clean and loved the keyless entry system. This is right on the main strip of Lake Geneva, walking distance to everything is only steps away. Reserved parking is included which is an added bonus to staying in this home. Absolutely loved our time here in beautiful Lake Geneva. We will definitely be back.

Ken and the Ole Bistro Inn were a great find for a last minute getaway from Chicago for the weekend! Location was excellent very close walking distance to the downtown area and the lake. It was a perfect place for a couple and there was a great little breakfast/lunch bistro just across the hall. There's a great big porch to sit on and enjoy morning coffee and breakfast, just a great relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to ken and I hope to return here again during the summer!

The Martini Suite is probably the MOST unique space that we’ve ever stayed! The pictures don’t do the place justice and the entire bar area was all surprisingly part of the space - and the lighting is sooo cool! And the location is right in the middle of downtown and a block from the water. Ken is a terrific host and incredibly responsive. We’ll definitely be back!

Just overall an amazingly beautiful experience staying in the Bistro suite. The pictures of the suite simply do not justify the beauty of it. Location, downtown Lake Geneva, few steps away from the lake... One could not ask for anything more. Will definitely be planning another trip soon. Ken an amazing host! Very communicative, great dining recommendations. Even assisted with a little surprise i wanted to do for my SO.

The Bistro Suite was perfect for our weekend get away! Very clean and well appointed space. Convenient location is walking distance to all the shopping and dining of downtown Lake Geneva. The living space was comfortable and the access to DirectTV and Netflix was a nice bonus! Bedroom was perfect with a large, comfortable bed and a gas fireplace. We highly recommend this place and look to return for another stay.

Ken was a great host who was super responsive to any questions we had. The best part about this place is the location. Super close to everything in Lake Geneva. We didn't use our car all weekend and had a short walk to everything that we wanted to do. Don't let this place being above a restaurant scare you it was super quiet even with guests in the other suites. Can't go wrong staying at this place while visiting Lake Geneva!

If you’re headed to Lake Geneva and plan to spend most of your time downtown you really should stay here. The pictures really don’t do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised by how cool it was. The decor and decorations were lovely. And we very much enjoyed turning the fireplace on in the bedroom after long walks outside in the chilly fall weather. The balcony is a nice bonus and we enjoyed coffee and people watching. The furniture was also super comfortable. We sank into the couch and watched football on the 70 inch tv. I wanted to take the bed home with me. The best part was not having to move my car once upon arrival. The location is great and you can see the lake from the balcony. We walked everywhere. Ken was also a great host. His instructions were easy to follow and he checked to see how our stay was. There is shared entrance with the two other suites, but we didn’t notice the other guests at all. I was a little worried that we would hear noise from the restaurant below in the early morning hours, but we didn’t hear a thing. Exceeded our expectations and this might just be my new spot in Lake Geneva.

We felt so fortunate to snag a few nights at this gorgeous oasis! Ken is an incredibly accommodating and a great communicator! The room is unreal. The details in the decor make for such a lovely and welcoming experience. We honestly spent the first hour of our stay just walking around the GIANT accommodations with our mouths hanging open. The bed is blissfully comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and has lovely high end finishings, the living room features a sunset and (Website hidden by Airbnb) has to be seen to be believed! The outdoor patio is lovely and gives a great and cozy bird's eye view for people watching and relaxing. We were only there for two nights and didn't use the kitchen much but with everything included so thoughtfully it would make for an ideal place to stay for weeks if not longer! You are mere steps away from the best beach, shopping, and restaurants here...but you barely have to leave the building for what was hands down our favorite breakfast at Great Eggs! It's a simple wrap place with just the right flair quality ingredients that makes it feel like a hidden gem. We will cross our fingers that we get an opportunity to stay here again soon!!!

Ken is an amazing super host and went above and beyond to make our Labor Day weekend stress free and enjoyable. Location was excellent and once we parked our car we didn't need it until we checked out as everything was walking distance. Sitting on the beautiful porch at night was relaxing and we ended every night outside on porch. This is a must do for all and would be beautiful in Fall with the trees changing colors. Many beautiful houses to walk and see and Lake Geneva can be seen from the porch. Can't say enough.

What a treasure to find such a special place right in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva! Our stay in the Garden Suite was amazing! It was like our own little romantic oasis. Beautifully landscaped gardens and patios. Free off street parking was a great bonus, we never moved our car as everything was easily within walking distance! Clean and comfortable with more than sufficient amenities. Ken was always available and responded immediately to any questions we had. The Great Eggs breakfast cafe was wonderful. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back! It’s the only place we will stay in the future!!!

We just spent our anniversary weekend at this beautiful place in downtown Lake Geneva. It was a balance of nice vintage look and feel with an entirely updated kitchen and bathroom. Everything was as promised: great location and great amenities. You could walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here again. Ken was a great host and very responsive to all of our questions. Definitely stop by Great Eggs for breakfast... it was awesome.

Ken's Ole Bistro Suite is a very elegant apartment, with dramatic, atmospheric decor. The location in Lake Geneva is wonderful - walking distance to the lake and the downtown area. The included parking place added a lot to the convenience. The best feature was a second floor veranda that spanned the entire front of the building. It is shared by both upstairs suites, but there is plenty of room. We spent most of our awake-at home time out there people watching, and enjoying the breezes from the lake. The bed is huge, and very comfortable - once we climbed into it. It's quite high - waist high on me, and I'm 5'5". I had to kind of roll into it. The bath suite is gorgeous, with a huge lovely shower. Ken was very responsive. We had a small crisis right before we checked in and I missed some of the directions in my distraction. Ken showed me how things worked and was very patient. He also accommodated an emergency overnight by our daughter without any problem, for which we are grateful. It was a lovely home away from home, and an excellent base for enjoying visits with friends and a family wedding.

Great location downtown and one block from the beach. Excellent breakfast restaurant in the same building. The Garden Suite was very clean. The water pressure was excellent. The WiFi is open and is that of the restaurant next door. (The food and coffee was very good.) The shower was great and the water pressure was excellent! The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and stove and is stocked with plate/glasses/silverware. There is a coffeemaker. There aren't any condiments or other food stuffs so bring anything you need if you're planning on cooking. Parking downtown Lake Geneva is difficult so it is nice to have a spot which is right behind the building. Our Jeep fit, but if you have anything larger make sure you call Ken for alternate parking arrangements. He will send you a thorough and detailed text with all necessary information the day you check in.

Outstanding location - within easy walking distance of lake, trail, tour boats, dining and bars. Accommodations are very comfortable and nicely skewed to the romantically decadent (a little dark, red motif throughout, etc.). Great outdoor second floor porch outside the room to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine watching the passing parade of people below. Ken was very responsive with quick replies to inquiries and suggestions for local restaurants/bars. Check-in instructions were very clear and the process was super simple. All is handled via communication of electronic codes for doors. Parking in rear of building was super convenient. Only negative was the need to hunt for outlets to serve for charging items - it's an older building. Kitchen was well=stocked for cooking or eating while there, although local restaurants are part of the attraction for the area. Great romantic location for a weekend away.

Our stay in the Garden Suite at the Old Bistro Inn was perfect. Ken was an extremely responsive host, keeping in touch by text and answering questions immediately. The Garden Suite is sparkling clean, beautifully furnished and decorated. There are so many lovely amenities like the gas fireplace in the bedroom and the spa shower! The location is wonderful, walking distance to the lake and shopping. We will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommend it!!!

Ken was a great host! The rooms are full functioning modern apartments. If one of Ken's rooms is available book it brcause it will be a more hospitable stay then any hotel in the area. Lastly, having the cafe in the building with great breakfast and you have your own parking!? Ken made the decision where we are staying a no brainer next time we visit the area. Thanks again!

Ken texted us the directions and parking instructions/building codes the day of our arrival. The suite was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom is quite opulent! The suite is conveniently located atop a breakfast place called "Great Eggs." I tapped into their WiFi. The smell of bacon and coffee greeted us every morning. Just about everything is within walking distance. Ken was friendly, professional, and helpful.

A great stay ! We were in town for my brother's wedding, which was at the Horticultural Hall just two blocks away. The location was perfect for us as we could be back and forth easily throughout the day while setting up and getting ready ourselves. Really close to the lake and anywhere else you'd like to walk. The place itself was great, super comfy, well-stocked kitchen. Loved the bathroom. Only complaint would be that the bed was too soft for my taste and I ended up with a sore back after both nights (my husband was just fine, though).

Happy with the accommodations and location! My husband and I recently stayed at the Ole Bistro Inn while enjoying a couple of days in Lake Geneva. We were given the Bistro Suite, a pristine suite with one bedroom, living area, fully-stocked kitchen and a spacious bath. The room is uniquely decorated with deep burgundy and bronze, and appears very upscale. Ken was very helpful and responsive to our questions - even coming over right away when I couldn't get the TV to work! There is plenty of space in this suite and it was nice having a kitchen available to make breakfast and warm up leftovers from the restaurants we visited. The location is also ideal - just a 1/2 block removed from Main St, we were able to walk to the restaurants, shops, and beach; parking was available for our car as well. It's a small inn with just 3 suites (I believe) and we could hear the TV in the next suite quite clearly, so the noise was a bit of a factor, but not enough to keep us away. We would definitely stay there again. Do remember to bring your own toiletries (we didn't think to bring our own soap and shampoo, so we had to drive down the road to a nearby Walmart) and a hair dryer. Enjoy!

Our stay was fabulous and I'm ready for next year! My husband and I are pastors, so I laughed when our reservation indicated that we would be in the Martini Suite...lol! What a pleasant surprise! The combination of coziness and romance with open space and contemporary style just can't be beat. The open kitchen concept is fantastic, all of the accommodations were extremely comfortable, and we were only 1/2 block from the beach right in the downtown area. There's a great view from the spacious front balcony, where we met the couple staying in the suite next door. We also ate breakfast at Great Eggs. There was no noise from the restaurant even though it was directly below us, and sharing the balcony was very comfortable since both suites have a designated area. We only had one request (extra sugar for our morning coffee and tea) and Ken let us know that someone would be right up. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and I'm so glad that we came early enough in the season to be able to book just a 3 day / 2 night stay. We're definitely looking forward to coming back. Great job, Ken!

We had such a great time at the Ole Bistro Inn! Our room was spotless and very spacious. The full kitchen was great to have even though we ate out every night. The location could not have been better. Right by the beach, shops, and restaurants-right downtown! Ken was always available and really easy to work with. My favorite part was the amazing balcony. We sat out there frequently and had fun people watching and enjoying the beautiful town. The coffee downstairs was the best we've ever had. The egg wraps were great as well!

Pictures didn't do it justice My boyfriend and I spent two nights for my birthday and it was perfect! We stayed in the bistro suite it was lovely. I enjoyed having coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the evening. The location is great you can walk to everything. We would definitely recommend this rental and will return hopefully for a longer stay.
